Facility Officer
Position: Facility Officer
Department: Sports, Recreation, Arts & Culture
Division: Operations
Salary: R 356 304 – R 488 784 Per Annum (Plus Benefits)
Core Responsibilities:
- Determine maintenance priorities of relevant facilities
- Effectively utilize resources allocated to the job in order to perform contracted work outputs and report on and escalate shortfalls
- Determine maintenance priorities of relevant facilities
- Supervise usage of facility and application of proclaimed by-laws and tariffs
- Maintenance of relevant buildings and recreation facilities
- Implement OHS Act and relevant procedures and policies
- Supervise event preparation and setting up/removal of equipment
- Ensure that facilities and activities are managed effectively
- Ensure adherence to specified standards, policies, and SOPs to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate the associated risk
- Develop, monitor, and deliver on service level agreements made with relevant stakeholders that meet or exceed expectations
- Contribute to a service culture, which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations, and allows others to provide exceptional client services
- Ensure that completed own and teamwork adheres to governance and legislative requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Facility Management or relevant equivalent qualification
- Computer Literacy
- A valid Code B or CI Driver’s Licence
- 3 – 5 years experience in a similar environment
